Two months ago Dr. Ehasz, the Vice President for Student Development and Enrollment Services, vetoed revisions to the UCF Golden Rule and the SGA Code of Ethics that would have expanded nondiscrimination protection to include gender identity and expression. These measures had passed the Golden Rule Review Committee and the SGA Senate with unanimous support.

Dr. Ehasz will be coming to the Senate meeting, Thursday, September 2nd a...t 7:00pm to explain her vetoes. We need all of you to come to the meeting and demonstrate how much support there is for making UCF a more inclusive campus. We want the administration to know that the UCF student body will settle for nothing less than FULL inclusion for our transgender students.

There will also be a resolution calling for greater inclusiveness of transgender students at this senate meeting. Please join us in solidarity.
